Social Experiment

My social experiment was quite interesting. I decided to try and interact with the ever hated UMBC parking ticket guy. I dont know about everyone else, but I have had a real problem with this guy with copious amounts of tickets in my three years here at UMBC. I finally worked the courage up to calmly ask him how he was doing and how his day was going after I had walked up on him giving my SUV a ticket. It took alot for me not to freak out on him, and it turns out he is actually a really nice gentlemen. He said he was really sorry he had to give the ticket but he was just trying to do his job. Funny thing is, a couple days later i walked into the parking lot near the rac where once again my meter was expired and saw him right next to my car. As i approached the car he kindly waved to me and asked how my day was and how the season has been going. To my surprise there was no ticket on the car!

Blackberry Storm

I asked my roommate if i could see and play with his cell phone. It was the ever popular Blackberry Storm by Verizon Wireless. The Storm is Blackberry's first ever touchscreen blackberry. He waited in line the day it came out for 12 hours just to get this new cell phone. I would actually classify it as a portable computer but thats just me. I would classify him as an early adopter because he could care less as to how to build the phone and doesnt really care to know how to build it, but is interested in all the bells and whistles it comes with. I.E. unlimited texting, GPS, interenet, blackberry messaging, Microsoft Word, Excel, ETC.
